Monday, August 10th - Flew from Montreal to Chicago to Salt Lake City and drove 4 hours to Moab.
Tuesday, August 11th - Visited Arches National Park, hiked the Devil's Garden Trail for 6 1/2 hours (15km), saw Landscape, Partition, Navajo and Double-O Arches. In the evening, visited the Colorado River canyon.
Wednesday, August 12th - Visited Dead Horse Point State Park, hiked out to the point and back (4km). Went back to Arches and hiked Park Avenue Trail, visited Courthouse Towers & Balanced Rock and the hiked the Double-Arch area
Thursday, August 13th - Visited Canyonlands National Park and hiked the Syncline Trail for 6 1/2 hours (13.5km)
Friday, August 14th - At Canyonlands, hiked the Lathrop Rim Trail and the Murphy's Point Trail.
Saturday, August 15th - At Arches, hiked to Delicate Arch, Sand Dune Arch and Broken Arch.
Sunday, August 16th - Went for a Jetboat Cruise down the Colorado River. Later, at Canyonlands, hiked up Aztec Butte, visited the Green River Overlook, Mesa Arch, and the Shafer Trail Overlook.
Monday, August 17th - Drove from Moab to Springdale. At Zion National Park, hiked the Riverside Trail and visited Weeping Rock.
Tuesday, August 18th - Climbed 2200 ft. to Observation Point and later drove on the scenic road to the East Side Entrance.
Wednesday, August 19th - Hiked the trail to the Emerald Pools, visited Court of the Patriarchs and hiked the Watchman Trail.
Thursday, August 20th - Hiked the Taylor Creek Trail and then drove to Tonopah, Nevada (5 hours) on the way to Reno.
Friday, August 21th - Drove to Reno (5 hours), attended Friday night services and then dinner at the Dahan's home.
Saturday, August 22th - Attended Josh Dahan's Bar Mitzvah and in the evening, his party at the Atlantis Casino.
Sunday, August 23rd - Took a bus tour provided by the Dahans. Treated to a great lunch at "La Ferme" in Genoa and then continued on to a drive around Lake Tahoe.
Monday, August 24th - Drove from Reno back to Salt Lake City (8 hours) to drop off the car.
Tuesday, August 25th - Flew from Salt Lake City to Dallas (after our Chicago flight was cancelled) and then on to Montreal.
