This morning we said goodbye to our bus, decorated here for Diwali. It dropped us of at the Agra train station for the trip to Jhansi.
Our train passed through another town with people waiting for their trains.

Another village that we passed.
At last, the train station at Jhansi, where we transferred to a new bus for our 8 hour long trip to Khajuraho. This included a sight seeing stop in Orchha and a 1-1/2 hour detour due to a bridge that had collapsed.

We made a stop at this town of Orchha to see its famous fort and palaces.
Dining at its finest.

Quite a family.

The entry across the water had this door protecting it, at one time. It would be difficult to break it down with a battering ram, due to the spikes.
Looking inside.

This is the courtyard with Jahangir Mahal Palace in the background.
These men were dancers, still celebrating Diwali.
