Batopilas - Alexander Sheperd, an American, bought up most of the silver mines in the area. These are the ruins of his office, processing area and home after the silver ran out.

Chihuahua - we visited the home of Pancho Villa. He was both an outlaw and a hero of the Mexican revolution.

Chihuahua - Pancho Villa had many enemies, including the new president of Mexico. As a result, he was assassinated in this bullet riddled car.

 

Chihuahua - each year, there is a festival including a competition for Chihuahua papier maché statues. This is one of the entrants.
